Questions worth answering.

Yes — Frigate ships a mobile app and web UI. Remote access uses an encrypted tunnel we set up, so your video still never lands on a third-party cloud. You watch your own footage, over your own connection.
Nothing. Cameras keep recording, AI keeps detecting, the NVR keeps storing — all locally. You just can't check the app remotely until internet returns. Compare that to cloud cameras, which go blind the moment the router reboots.
Our standard NVR handles up to 8 cameras at 4K with the Coral TPU. Most homes need 4–6. If you need more, we size the recorder up accordingly.
Frigate is open-source, actively developed, and has better AI zones and labels than any prosumer NVR we've tested. It integrates with Home Assistant out of the box. It'll still exist in ten years even if we close up shop tomorrow — your system is truly yours.
